Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers’ Coalition Announces Promotions
The Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers’ Coalition (AOMC) is pleased to announce the promotions of two key leaders: Dana Hermann to Executive Director and Cecily Fyffe to Associate Director. These appointments reflect the coalition’s continued commitment to strengthening manufacturing in Southeast Ohio through experienced, visionary leadership.
Dana Hermann, Executive Director AOMC
Dana Hermann brings over a decade of experience in sales, leadership, business development, and strategic marketing to her new role as Executive Director. Since joining AOMC in 2024 as Manager of Outreach and Recruitment, she has driven measurable growth in regional engagement and spearheaded innovative, data-driven outreach strategies. Dana’s background includes leadership roles at Nucor Steel and Russel Metals, where she managed sales portfolios exceeding $65 million and developed high-performing teams.
Dana’s ability to connect private-sector insight with mission-driven initiatives has positioned her as a dynamic leader for AOMC’s next phase. She remains passionate about workforce development and regional economic advancement and is committed to deepening partnerships that elevate Southeast Ohio’s manufacturing ecosystem.
Joining Dana in advancing AOMC’s mission is Cecily Fyffe, who has been promoted to Associate Director. With more than a decade of administrative leadership experience, Cecily has played a vital role in managing AOMC’s internal operations. Her responsibilities have included overseeing HR and payroll systems, leading grant reporting and budget development, and ensuring efficient goal tracking and compliance.

Cecily’s prior experience at Washington State Community College, Martin Marietta Materials, and Triad Hunter, LLC/Montage Resources has equipped her with the organizational and leadership skills essential for navigating complex operational structures. She holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University and an Associate of Arts and Science in Business Administration from Washington State Community College.
These promotions mark an exciting chapter for AOMC as it continues to grow its impact in the region. The coalition remains focused on aligning education and workforce development systems with the evolving needs of manufacturers to foster economic prosperity and a high quality of life in Southeast Ohio.
