Intro to Tig Welding

This beginner-friendly course introduces students to the fundamentals of TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, one of the cleanest and most precise welding methods used in the industry. Designed for those with little to no prior experience, this class covers essential topics such as welding safety, equipment setup, machine settings, and basic torch handling. Students will gain hands-on practice welding mild steel in flat positions, learn how to control heat, apply filler rod, and maintain a steady arc. Emphasis is placed on developing proper technique, building hand-eye coordination, and understanding the key principles behind successful TIG welds.
No prior welding experience required.
Time: 5:00 pm - 7:00 p.m.
Open to those 16 years of age or older. Two person maximum per class.
