Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers’ Coalition holds Recovery Roundtable
AOMC hosted a Recovery Roundtable on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at AOMC in Marietta, Ohio. This collaborative roundtable brought together recovery, behavioral health, public safety, and community organizations to help inform and strengthen workforce pathways for individuals in recovery across Appalachian Ohio.
The Recovery Roundtable was designed to facilitate open discussion around recovery-informed workforce readiness, referral processes, and the support individuals needing to successfully transition into employment. Participants shared insights on what is working in the community, identifies gaps or challenges, and explored opportunities to better align recovery services with employers committed to fair-chance hiring. Attendees also learned more about AOMC’s facilities and the role the organization plays in supporting manufacturing workforce efforts in the region.
The following organizations were represented at the event: Community Resource Center, Community Health Improvement Associates, Peer Solutions Ohio, Washington County Family & Children First, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Behavioral Health Board, Recovery Connections, Washington County Family and Children First, Hopewell, SAOP, House of Hope of Washington County, Aspire - Washington County Career Center, Athens County JFS Reentry, Athens HOPE, Ohio Department of Behavioral Health,
