This introductory course teaches students how to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings commonly used in welding, fabrication, and construction industries. Designed for beginners or those seeking a refresher, this class focuses on developing the skills needed to understand shop drawings, welding symbols, and part specifications.
Topics Include: Understanding lines, views, and dimensions, Interpreting welding symbols and annotations, Reading fabrication and assembly drawings, Tolerances and material specifications, Scale, units, and title block information, Hands-on blueprint reading exercises
No prior experience required. This class is ideal for welding students, entry-level shop workers, and those preparing for technical certification programs.
This is a one-day class that begins at 5:00 p.m and ends at 7:00 p.m. There is a maximum of 5 participants per time slot.
